Proper installation is an important aspect to ensuring your native garden thrives long term.  Join the City of Sierra Madre, Sierra Madre Garden Club, the Sierra Madre Community Foundation and FormLA Landscaping at the installation of the new Sierra Madre City Hall Gardens to learn proper technique.

You will:
  • Learn proper installation,
  • Get hands-on experience planting natives, and
  • Help the city create a beautiful community garden!

The new Sierra Madre City Hall Gardens will address virtually every challenge Sierra Madre residents are likely to encounter in their home gardens. The gardens will demonstrate the New Look for L.A.  The plant palette includes fire resistant and edible California natives, several IdealMow lawn alternatives, shade and sun gardens.  Permeable paths and patios as well as the latest in irrigation infrastructure will ensure the garden is a water saving powerhouse.
