Want to get the New Look for L.A. but not sure where to start? Join Cassy Aoyagi, president of FormLA Landscaping and one of the New Look for L.A. designers for a Talk and Walk at the garden.
Cassy will discuss Sustainable Garden Design. Designing sustainable landscapes is all about thinking long term. This course will look at rules of thumb for sustainable garden design, including: plant spacing, maintenance considerations and strategies, troubleshooting designs, diseases/pests, editing, and retrofitting existing sprinklers to drip.
The April Talk and Walk curriculum is part of a four course series hosted by Descanso Gardens. Each course begins at Descanso Gardens with classroom work applied to the New Look for L.A. Center Circle Garden. Register for a single course or for the full series.
