VALUED CUSTOMERS & FRIENDS+

Even as we saw #SuperBloom take over social media and blooms take over your gardens, we’ve been concerned about the spaces and people impacted by recent fires.

As we’ve travelled to provide support, we’ve seen more of the native plant fire followers and pioneers that protect us than we’ve seen in our lifetimes. California Morning Glory, multiple species of Phacelia, Gilias – all showed up to support us.

Perennial friends like Monkey flowers and Lupine are also more present, as if they know we need them more than usual. We see healthy new growth from stumps of Lemonade Berries and Toyon, the elders who remind us that when we get knocked down, we start again.

Seeing these precious plants – and the people that surround them – bounce back with vigor gives us confidence that LA will continue to grow safer and more beautiful as we work together to heal.

Love,
Cassy and Kirk
