The Pacific Palisades Garden Club‘s perennially popular Spring Garden Tour invites guests to visit a half-dozen beautiful and unusual local home gardens. These may range from spacious, elegant landscaping to well-designed smaller gardens with sustainability features such as water conservation systems, lawn replacement, low maintenance, and drought-tolerant plantings, vegetable, fruit, and herb growing.

An edited, clean FormLA garden is featured on this year’s tour.  A series of outdoor living spaces, from a cozy lounge with built in sitting to fire pit and pool-adjacent seating make for ideal entertainment space. See Loll Designs provided by Potted, inviting al fresco dining by Universal Patio, and a whimsical ceramic wall by Switcheroo.

Shaded by healthy redwoods, a lush, and varied wildlife-supporting garden replaces the traditional front lawn. In the private back garden, waves of native grasses evoke a feeling of serenity. Fragrant natives ensconce the pool as well as raised beds for edibles, making every step a treat for the senses.

The Spring Garden Tour offers something more than the chance to see lovely gardens. The tour enables the Pacific Palisades Garden Club to help create or maintain “edible gardens” in schools, civic beautification projects, and plant conservation and restoration efforts in the nearby mountains. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to support their efforts.
