Join Cassy Aoyagi, a board member of the US Green Building Council’s thought-leading LA-Chapter and president of FormLA Landscaping for a discussion about fire-wise landscaping.
Aoyagi will discuss the 10 qualities of a fire wise landscape, why spaces like Rosemont Preserve are critical to LA’s safety and resilience, and the ways in which the Preserve has been renovated to support nearby homeowners.
Aoyagi will also lead a tour of the space, recently re-wilded with fire-wise foliage. She’ll talk about combustible foliage to avoid and answer attendee questions about the preserve and applying the 10 fire-wise qualities to their own gardens.
