VALUED CUSTOMERS & FRIENDS+

Event season is in full gear, and we were overjoyed to see so many of you at our Theodore Payne Foundation 50th Anniversary Tour homes. We owe amazingly big thank yous to Leor and Gordon Ownby, Myra and Al Rosen, and last but not least Karen and Peter Veloz for sharing their homes with over 600 people!

Pasadena Showcase House of Design opens this Sunday and continues until Sunday, May 16th. We have created a delightful, water-wise version of a Loire Valley knot garden and included fantastic antiques from Charme d’Antan. Fans can see “before” photos and Enter to Win Tickets on our Facebook Page.

On May 15th, we hope you’ll join us in dedicating a demonstration garden very dear to our hearts. La Cañada Valley Beautiful will formally introduce the La Cañada Public Library’s Gardens of the World. The garden illustrates the profound beauty and diversity of climate-compatible California native and Mediterranean basin plant communities, and we hope, with your help, it may come to showcase some truly extraordinary species from other climate-compatible regions as well.

Happy Spring – we hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,
Cassy and Kirk Aoyagi

Consider supplementing the familiar form and flowers of California native plants and Mediterranean foliage with drought-tolerant exotics from Australia, Chile and South Africa.
