FormLA Landscaping designers Cassy Aoyagi and Isara Ongwiseth will join the Compulsive Gardener’s Class at the LA Arboretum for a conversation about the importance of beauty and authenticity in Southern California gardens.

After the presentation, gardeners will tour the Authentic Foothill Gardens at Sierra Madre City Hall. The water and power saving gardens were inspired by requests from the Sierra Madre Garden Club, neighbor and grant funded, and installed with broad-based help from the community.

Each Authentic Foothill Garden at Sierra Madre City Hall features California native foliage that revels in high heat, enjoys shade and rain, resists fire, attracts wildlife, provides IdealMow lawn space with less water, and/or has edible or medicinal properties.
