See California Native Flora and Fauna in Nature
Each year, FormLA Landscaping co-founders Cassy and Kirk Aoyagi host treks in to wild spaces throughout Los Angeles County. The hikes are a wonderful chance to learn about California natives and edibles, understand the impact of our landscaping choices on the natural environment, and get a good workout!
The images at the side are from our “Feel the Burn” hike and learn hosted in the wake of the 2011 Station Fire, where we explored the consequences of fire in wild spaces and for our slopes. Our “Wild Eats” hike and learns focus on identifying edibles – a real hit with kids!
