LA’s wealthy neighborhoods hold the majority of the city’s urban greenery, and many see green infrastructure as having purely aesthetic value. Over the last half-century, we have learned that quality, sustainable, resilient open space is not just a means to increase property value. It is also critical for the health and well-being of Southern Californians. This panel will address the inequities of LA’s urban design and planning and discuss how to bring a sustainable green infrastructure to all Angelenos.

Our own Cassy Aoyagi will join Brandy Williams, owner of Garden Butterfly, Marcela Oliva, director of the PUEDE Innovation Laboratory, and Gary Lai, AHBE/MIG’s director of regenerative design. We hope you’ll take part in the discussion!
